FAQ
What are the festival hours? The festival is open from 11am to 5pm both days. VIP ticket holders can enter an hour early at 10am.
What is the ticket refund policy? Please, no refunds or no exchanges within 30 days of the event.
What is the re-entry policy? Ticket holders can re-enter the event with the appropriate stamp. Re-entry is only allowed on the same day of entry ticket (i.e., Saturday ticket holders cannot re-enter on Sunday).
Is there food at the event? There will be some vendors offering snacks. There are plenty of delicious food options at the Ferry Building, so we encourage you to check out the great food downstairs and outside at the farmer’s market (on Saturdays only).
Will tickets be available at the door? The SFITF usually sells out, we cannot guarantee any availability at the door. To ensure entry, please purchase tickets in advance.
What are your COVID-19 safety protocols? Since safety guidelines are always changing, we'll abide by all local and/or federal restrictions in place at the time of the event.
Is there an age limit to enter the event? All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children age 5 and under may enter free of charge with ticketed parent or guardian. All attendees over age 5 must be ticketed. Only apppriately ticketed guests will receive a free gift bag and/or tasting cup.
What can/can't I bring to the event? No animals allowed except for Registered Service Animals. There will be congested areas inside the event. Please try to avoid bringing strollers and large bags if possible. We and your fellow sippers thank you!
Are there areas to store my purchases while I shop? There are no lockers or storage areas on-site.
Are there bike racks at the Ferry Building? There are three sets of bike racks at both the north and south ends of the building outside on the back plaza. The Ferry Building and SF International Tea Festival accept no responsibility for bikes left at any of the racks.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? Printed or mobile tickets will be accepted at the door. Please ensure your barcode is printed clearly and can be scanned for entry.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable? Yes, the ticket is transferable (may be used by someone other than the person who makes the purchase) but can only be used for one person for the day of the event it is issued. Saturday tickets cannot be used on Sunday; Sunday tickets cannot be used on Saturday. Each attendee must have their own ticket.
Can I update my registration information? Yes, please do by logging into your Eventbrite account.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay? Yes, the ticket is transferable (may be used by someone other than the person who makes the purchase) but can only be used for one person on the day of the event it was purchased for. Each attendee must have their own ticket.
